How to Create Notes on an iPhone: 6 Steps (with Pictures)
Create and share notes on your iPhone and make use of the dictation feature to quickly record your thoughts.

TAP THE NOTES ICON ON YOUR IPHONE\'S HOME SCREEN TO LAUNCH THE NOTES APP.

TAP THE PLUS (+) BUTTON AT THE TOP RIGHT OF THE INTERFACE TO CREATE A NEW NOTE.
On iOS 7, this button will say "New" instead.

TYPE CONTENT INTO THE NEW NOTE USING THE ON SCREEN KEYBOARD.

TAP THE DICTATE BUTTON. The small microphone beside your space bar on the keyboard allows you to speak what you want to note rather than type.

TAP THE DONE BUTTON THAT APPEARS TO FINISH DICTATING. Your dictation is analyzed and added to your note. Tap the Done button at the top right of the screen.

OR ADD TO YOUR NOTE. Go back to the main Notes screen, and select the note you saved.
TIPS
Share your note by tapping the share button (the rectangle with an arrow in it at the bottom of the screen) and select Email or Print from the menu that appears.
You can delete a note by swiping across it in the notes list and tapping the Delete button that appears or by tapping the trash can button at the bottom of the note.
If you use iCloud, your notes are synced to other devices linked to your iCloud account.
