How to Defragment an Android: 5 Steps (with Pictures)

The flash disks on an Android can become unstable and fragmented after a long enough time. You can help fix this by defragmenting the drive in Windows.
STEPS

CONNECT YOUR ANDROID TO YOUR COMPUTER WITH THE USB PORT. Mount the drive if necessary. Then click "Start" in Windows and select "My computer."

RIGHT-CLICK ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE\'S DRIVE WHERE IT\'S LISTED IN THE FOLDER THAT OPENS.

SELECT "PROPERTIES" FROM THE DROP-DOWN MENU.

CLICK ON THE "TOOLS" TAB AT THE TOP OF THE PROPERTIES WINDOW.

CLICK "DEFRAGMENT NOW" TO DEFRAGMENT THE DRIVE.
WARNINGS
Defragging a flash drive too many times could reduce its life span.
