How to Tweet from Within Any Application in Mac OS X Lion

Apple’s latest operating system for Mac computers is highly integrated with Twitter, much like the forthcoming release of iOS 5 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. For example, you now have the ability to tweet directly from the majority of core apps right to your Twitter account. This article will walk you through the process of sending a text as a tweet directly from within an application in OS X Lion.
STEPS
1
CLICK THE MAC APP STORE ICON FROM YOUR DOCK.

2
SEARCH FOR THE NATIVE TWITTER APPLICATION AND FOLLOW THE ONSCREEN INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL IT TO YOUR MAC. Note: After the app is installed, it doesn’t have to be open to access the tweet from any application feature in OS X Lion.

3
OPEN UP NOTIFICATION CENTER BY CLICKING THE ICON IN THE TOP RIGHT OF THE MENU BAR. You’ll see a Click to Tweet button which you click to get a tweet sheet.
4
ENTER YOUR MESSAGE AND CLICK SEND.

TIPS
You can open Launchpad in OS X Lion using custom shortcuts or hot corners by setting them in System Preferences.
Swipe between pages of apps in Launchpad by clicking and holding your mouse while making a swiping gesture left or right, or use a two finger gesture on your trackpad.
WARNINGS
OS X Lion is only available as a downloadable upgrade through the Mac App Store.
